SMA Leon Van Autreve Scholarships

This program is available to AUSA members who are currently enrolled or have been accepted at an accredited college or university to pursue a degree in any field. Selection is primarily based on academic merit and personal accomplishments.

While financial need is generally not a deciding factor, it may be considered in cases of significant hardship; however, a lack of financial need will never disqualify an applicant from being selected.

Eligible applicants include: 

• AUSA Premium Members
• Association Members
• Their dependents, including children, spouses, and grandchildren

The application process for General Studies requires a one-page autobiography, a letter outlining your career goals, course of study, and degree completion plans. For those applying for completed coursework scholarships, you should explain how your degree or certification is being utilized. Additionally, two letters of recommendation from school officials, such as a principal, counselor, teacher, or coach, are required.
